BlackRay – The Open Source Data Engine

The MailCrawler-Application is a sample application for BlackRay, which allows you to download, index and search your IMAP folders. The application has two components, a crawler batch that fetches the mails, and runs the indexer. The web-based frontend allows convenient search in your mails via your browser. Please remember, it was designed as a sample application, not for production use. But, we think it is pretty cool nonetheless.
